Bushwick Collective Art

When I was in the Philippines anything that was painted on the walls were merely an act of vandalism of some random gang. Who supposedly have the “too cool for school” attitude and just want to mess people around. That was just my own perspective.

But then when I saw the different painted murals in NY, specifically in Brooklyn, I couldn’t help but laud all their amazing artworks. It’s not something they do just to mess up the walls but to express their love for art.

It’s amazing how New York supports this kind of art by holding a block party in Bushwick every year to cater artists who want to express their art through walls.

I don’t mind putting up walls to create expressions and love (for art, in this case) rather than putting it up to build hate.
