Fall Again

“Fall Again” is a tagline that I “plagiarized” from Starbucks. Once the calendar flipped over for the month of September I saw this tagline hanging around the window of Starbucks hinting the autumn season. I thought it was a brilliant idea to use a polysemy phrase to bolster the shift  of the season in addition to “fall again” with whatever seasonal products they are promoting say, the pumpkin spice latte.

And speaking of pumpkin, we spent one Sunday in Argos Farm to have pumpkin picking. Upon entering the farm, it was quite evident that most of their activities were contrived for juvenile human. They have pedal carts, rat rollers, tug of war, pig races, corn box, hay mountain and so much more. Personal favorites were the corn maze, which was perfect for photo ops, and the wagon ride. They also have a farm market where apple cider donuts, ice cream and pies were the main star of the game. Pies were mediocre but I wouldn’t mind having a second or third round of their ice cream.

Though we did not take home any pumpkins, it was a fun experience to be surrounded with so much pumpkins and well, corns, moreover, to get lost in a cornfield.

Now I wonder how does it feel to be surrounded with apples? Apple picking, anyone?
