I will be totally honest. My knowledge with regards to different wines is close to none. Not that I have to learn every single one of them but it’s good to know at least the good ones. Thankfully, Napa Valley is an hour (or so) away from San Francisco Bay area; which we visited for a quick vacation.
Among the countless wineries in Napa Valley we chose what my friend recommended – Castello di Amorosa (Castle of Love). The place was stunning with a great view and I felt like I was shifted somewhere in Italy.
The basic general admission fee is $25 with premium tasting of five wines plus access to the castle. For the wine tasting, you can choose from their wide varieties of white, red and sweet wines. Among all the wines that I relished, I enjoyed the sweet wines the most particularly the La Fantasia. It is one of their best selling wines and you can only purchase it in their store. It is the best wine that I had so, I highly recommend for you to include it on your list in case you swing by Castello di Amorosa.
Another tip! Don’t forget to grab their sea salt chocolate. It’s one of the best and you’re welcome.
